Let’s say I’ve just left a fancy dress party then have to get going to a staff meeting, but don’t want to go in my costume. How do change my look in an instant so I look more presentable for work? Hello all…let’s see how this goes.  I’m going to give a tip every week..welcome to Honey’s Handy Hint.  This week deals with gift giving and the curse of the no copy object.  Often, giving no copy items you face the dilemma of the gift getting lost, never to be seen again.  Not only is it a waste of your money, but it’s frustrating too.  So watch on and you’ll see how easy it is to warn the recipient of the impending doom..I mean gift..Lordy, I was getting carried away with myself!  

We had a great time tonight at our Halloween Party – for students and friends.  Photoshops have been added to Flickr for those who want to see what we were doing.

A like any good party there always have to be a proposal ..our hot Dj .. proposed to his sl wife – to renew their wedding vows.

Hello kiddies..it’s Halloween, a time for those of us who are normally sane to go a little bonkers..and get away with it.

So, what’s on the agenda?

Firtsly, we have wonderful Trick or Treat bags for you to wear, grab yours from the SL Learning Centre lobby or any of our class rooms and wear it.  Next, make sure you attend as many classes as you can to get your treats by simply touching the Trick or Treat boards.  All of our teachers have created some wonderful surprises so don’t forget to say thank you or we’ll turn you into toads..i do keep making this threat in my classes and one day, i’ll carry it out.

Next, what sort of school would we be without Halloween Classes?  We have a lot on over this next few weeks so make sure you check out the events calendar or even better, drop by the school and view the class board in the lobby.  Classes include a Sculpted Flying Broomstick, Bubbling Bloody Eye Bucket, Spider Class, Spooky Gravestone, Blinking Bloody Brew, Crystal Ball, Burn At The Stake, Sculpted Gallows, Deluxe Coffin, Candy apple Giver and 3 types of Cauldrons…plus many many more!!

While you’re here, don’t forget to check out the Grave Yard, Maze and Haunted House all created by our talented JS Fargis.  JS has spent hours creating some amazing work for us to enjoy, he truely deserves a knife in the back..i mean a pat on the back for all his efforts.  Not only has JS shown us what he can do, but he has show cased the talent of the SLLC teachers..Honeydew slips JS a $50 note…the rest is coming soon.

Other events held during the creepy season include a sim wide Halloween hunt from 17th October and the first ever SL Learning Centre Halloween party on the 25th October..make sure you put on your dancing shoes and costume it up guys.
