Just to let you know – I have been working extremely hard on creating a new course. 

SL Texture Tutorials  is 50 videos (which is about 3 hours of learning material).  Best part is, you can come back and repeat these videos as often as you like.  It starts with 25 videos covering the basics of Photoshop. Then when you are up to speed with Photoshop you will move into more advanced features.

The course helps you create 25 different texture which you can immediately upload to Second Life.  If you wanted to learn how to texture for Second Life – this is the course for you.  So before leaving pop on over to SL Texture Tutorials and we look forward to seeing you at SLLC soon.

SL Learning Centre - special guest

It’s always a pleasure to introduce Jopsy Pendragon from Particle Laboratory. Jopsy’s special guest visit was very propular with 35 people in class.

For one hour he taught us the ins and outs of particles, gave away free scripts and then memorised everyone with his particle machine, showering us all with particle shamrocks.

For me personally playing with particles has always been a challenge – however I have learnt so much from Jopsy and the information he readily makes available for everyone. Make sure you visit him at Particle Laboratory at Teale. Or come to the lobby at SL Learning Centre and there is a landmark giver.

This week, I look at an easy way to find out information when you are too shy to ask and answer the question…How do I find out who made that dress? I failed to mention in the video you can also use this technique for finding out who made hair, shoes and accessries too. So watch on and get busy clicking in world.
