SL Learning Centre also known as SLLC – opened its doors in March 2008. The school is situated on the sim called the Learning Pond which is primarily used for educational purposes.

SL Learning Centre is a learning environment designed to teach important and relevant SecondLife skills using activity based curriculum, staffed with content creators with extensive teaching experience. SLLC’s main campus is Located in the Learning Pond (click here for direct link to Centre) with 2 offsite learning environments.

SLLC desire is to help residents with basic building skills to improve their creative power. Occupying more than 5 teaching environments and staff with over 20 professional SL content creators, SLLC offers both free classes and fee-for-training classes, ranging from building skills to skills such as marketing and event management, software programs such as Photoshop and Gimp and Sculpt programs such as Rokuro and Wings 3D.

SL Learning Centre is founded on the idea that learning is most effective when we have fun putting knowledge into the creative process. Our learning environment is designed to give the student the utmost freedom in expressing their idea, and our students are taught by experienced teachers and are developed through thoughtful and interlocking curriculum planning.
